With 7+ years’ experience as a fee earner in the private client department Hannah Booth specialises in the administration of estates both non-taxable and taxable which are simple or more complex. Hannah’s experience includes probate applications for non-domiciled individuals holding foreign wills, estates requiring overseas grants, and estates with issues of insolvency or maladministration. Hannah provides advice on inheritance tax planning, drafting straightforward and complex wills, lasting powers of attorney, registrations of enduring powers of attorney, deputyship applications and assisting with contentious work. Hannah also has experience of land registrations, assents and conveyancing, as well as background knowledge in family law.
Hannah is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and ensures smooth running of the department by overseeing training and compliance.
Hannah was promoted to Director in November 2024.
Hannah has a particular interest in contested wills, contentious probate and estates that involve fraud, maladministration or insolvency.
Hannah is a Dementia Friend through the Alzheimer’s Society, recognising the importance of understanding clients’ needs where they or their family members are affected by cognitive difficulties. Hannah is also an associate member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
Hannah advises clients across our offices and can provide assistance to the elderly or infirm by offering home, hospital or care home visits.
