Hannah Taylor is a trainee legal executive currently completing the final academic stages of her training through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
With 4+ years’ experience as a fee earner in the private client department, Hannah was promoted to an associate member of the firm in August 2017 and specialises in the administration of estates both non-taxable and taxable, including probate applications for non-domiciled individuals holding foreign wills, estates requiring overseas grants, drafting straightforward and complex wills, lasting powers of attorney, registrations of enduring powers of attorney, deputyship applications and assisting with contentious work. Hannah also has experience of land registrations, assents and conveyancing, as well as background knowledge in family law.
Hannah has a particular interest in contested wills, contentious probate and estates that involve fraud, maladministration or insolvency.
Dementia Friend through the Alzheimer’s Society, Hannah leads the firm in supporting the Barrow-in-Furness Dementia Action Alliance who aim to raise awareness of dementia in the community. She also plans to undertake her membership qualifications with STEP and Solicitors for the Elderly to strengthen her expertise in the private client sector.
