Marketing Executive

We are looking for a pro-active and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join the Progression Solicitors team. You will be responsible for raising brand awareness and generating interest in our products and services. You should be comfortable working across multiple teams to coordinate and deliver a wide variety of marketing campaigns. You should be accustomed to working towards set targets, and using data driven techniques to achieve year-on-year improvements.

The role is suited to someone used to working in a fast paced environment across multiple projects with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for servicing the marketing requirements of multiple teams and divisions and collaborating with senior staff to continually develop and implement divisional and company-wide marketing plans.

Key Duties

SEO – Conduct ongoing search engine optimisation activities across the Progression Solicitors website and blog. Improve time on page rates, click though rates and conversion rates and reduce bounce rates across all pages. This role requires a working understanding of WordPress and its functions, and implementation of SEO techniques.

Content Marketing – Implement content marketing strategies and techniques to attract, engage and retain Progression Solicitors’ key audience through the creation and sharing of relevant articles, blogs, infographics, images, videos, and other media. Work closely with divisional team members to research interesting and relevant key content. Produce 1-2 original pieces of content per week for the Progression Solicitors blog.

Marketing Collateral – Design and creation of marketing collateral including brochures, signage, banners, business cards and flyers using online design platforms including Canva. Liaise with external suppliers and use internal print resources wherever possible. Comply with brand guidelines throughout the design process.

Social Media – Management of four social media accounts including creating, posting, and sharing content. Experience using social media management platforms to post on across multiple accounts. Ongoing engagement with local suppliers, businesses, and other affiliated parties. Monitoring and assessment of engagement metrics to enhance audience interaction.

Events – Planning and support of local events, including awards and networking events. Coaching of non-marketing staff in networking and wider event activity. Support of non-marketing staff in creating and developing new networking events and other opportunities.

Branding/Signage – Conduct a company-wide branding and signage review, including office signage and slideshows, stationary, kitchenware and other office materials.

Sponsorship – Identify new and ongoing local sponsorship opportunities and ensure a measurable ROI to evaluate sponsorship opportunities. Ensure that returns from all ongoing opportunities are maximised.

Media/Press – Interact with local media to maximise news-worthy opportunities. Create and foster local media connections to place the company as a position of authority and trust in the local community.

Bay Business Community – Management and marketing of the Bay Business Community Lancaster office. Promote available coworking and office space opportunities via events, sponsorship, advertising, social media, blog, and SEO. Practical knowledge of SEO strategies and tactics and Google Analytics. General office management, providing tours to potential clients, delivering the onboarding process for new clients. Trouble shooting any office issues and acting as a first point of contact for all enquiries/issues.

Key Skills

Excellent spelling and grammar, good academics and a creative, professional nature. The successful candidate will be able to produce reports recording their outcomes-based results and deliver to management for review.

The ability to self-manage is necessary, with the ambition to grow a team around you by delegating and training junior members of staff in aspects of marketing appropriate to the business.
