Pamela Horobin, LLB(Hons) TEP (Director)

Pamela Horobin specialises in providing advice on wills, inheritance tax planning and the administration of estates and trusts. Pamela also advises on issues relevant to elderly clients including residential care funding.

Alongside estates and succession planning for the future, Pamela has considerable experience in advising on matters of contested wills and claims against estates, including financial provision claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependents) Act 1975. Pamela Horobin is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), an accreditation given to practitioners who are recognised as having particular expertise in these areas of work. Given the nature of Pamela’s work, she understands the importance of offering home visits to the elderly and infirm.

After training in a long established legal firm in Westminster, Pamela worked as a solicitor for high net worth clients before working at Burgess Salmon and TLT law firms in Bristol.

Pamela started Progression Solicitors in 2005 after moving to the Lakes in 2001.
