Do you have the skills to manage and progress a successful commercial team? We are recruiting a senior commercial lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE to serve our commercial clients within the South Lakes, Lancashire and wider areas.

You will offer a ‘complete service’, meaning that you will work with your clients from initial instruction through to completion, with the assistance of team members and trainees where appropriate. Salary region £50,000pa+ (negotiable depending upon experience)

Key Skills

Required:

• Proven expertise in a range of commercial property transactions including but not limited to commercial property sales/purchases, leases, landlord and tenant, acquisition/sale of businesses, share purchase/sales
• Good IT skills are essential to enable the successful candidate to adapt, with training, to in-house systems including paperless working and precedent management software.
• 5+ years’ PQE
• Ability to attend at least one of our sites across Cumbria and Lancashire
• Full UK driver’s licence

• Team building skills – the ability to work proactively with your team members to reach departmental goals
• Management – a keen interest in the development of your team and growth of their knowledge and expertise
• Mentoring – providing training and knowledge to junior members of your team

• Expertise in company/corporate law
